PURPOSE:To obtain a resin compsn. having improved surface hardness and excellent mar resistance, workability, film-forming properties and adhesion, by blending a specified unsaturated polyester with a styrene monomer and a specified polyfunctional (meth)acrylic monomer. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. consists of 10-45pts.wt. unsaturated polyester (A) having an unsaturated group equivalent of 140-330, 15-60pts.wt. styrene monomer (B) and 15-75pts.wt. polyfunctional (meth)acrylic monomer (C) having an unsaturated group equivalent of 89-130, represented by the formula. In the formula, at least four of RS are (meth)acryloxy group sand the remainder thereof are org. groups excluding the (meth)acryloxy group; and n is 1-5. Preferred examples of the polyfunctional (meth)acrylic monomer are trimethylolmethane tetra(meth)acrylate, dipentaerythritol tetraacrylate, etc.
