FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to operation and underground repair of oil and gas wells and is intended for lowering and lifting continuous steel pipes being wound on drum. Installed on mounting base of transport facility are hoisting device with feed mechanism, drum, and unit for placing steel pipe coils on drum. Drum is provided with sets of pressing rolls which embrace drum so that in one position they interact with pipe coils, and in other position they allow for removing and replacement of drum. Hoisting device is made in the form of rotatable post and carriage with extending frame. In one version, feed mechanism is installed on extending frame, in other version it is installed on additional removable section which is secured to extending frame. Aforesaid combination ensures lifting of feed mechanism up to 6 m height. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 11 dwgn
