FIELD: railway transport; levelling, tamping ballast cleaning machines and electric ballasters for raising track skeletons. SUBSTANCE: device has electromagnetic rail grips including electromagnets and controlled voltage source, grips height adjusters, grip lifting force pickups, signal converters, electromagnet temperature sensors and signalling device. Signal converter unit has four inputs and four outputs . Lifting force pickups are connected to two inputs of converter unit, and temperature sensors are connected to two other inputs. Two outputs of converter unit are connected with voltage source, and two other outputs of converter unit are connected with signalling device. Rail grips are arranged at both sides of longitudinal symmetry plane of device. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 1 dwg0
