FIELD: polymeric materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing polymeric materials based on phenolformaldehyde resins of resol type. Composition containing condensation waste product of acetone-phenolic production with formaldehyde, adduct of ethylene oxide and alkylphenols, aluminium powder, benzene sulfoacid, ortho-phosphoric acid and ethylene glycol has additionally vermiculite at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: condensation waste product of acetone-phenolic production with formaldehyde, 68-80; adduct of ethylene oxide and alkylphenols, 3.5-4.0; aluminium powder, 1.0-1.5; benzene sulfoacid, 6.5-10.5; ortho-phosphoric acid, 2.5-4.0; ethylene glycol, 3.0-5.0; and vermiculite, 3.5-7.0. The use of this composition ensures to increase material strength by 26-60-fold and decrease formaldehyde content by 4-9-fold. Composition can be used in industrial building.
