PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a phase difference film with which uniform display can be obtd. all over a screen. SOLUTION: A polycarbonate film produced by a soln. casting method is uniaxially starched to give double refraction to obtain the phase difference film. In this method, the film before being stretched constrains a solvent having 120 to 170 deg.C boiling point and a solvent having <120 deg.C boiling point. The amt. of the former solvent is 0.05 to 1.5wt.% and is smaller than the amt. of the latter solvent. |
