摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energized sintering method for a long member which can prevent the development of defective sintered part and excess sintered part in the longitudinal direction of the sintered body in the energized sintering of the long material. SOLUTION: This method is the one obtaining the sintered body by charging powdery material M into a compacting die 1, compacting with a punch 2 to the long green compact and impressing voltage to the green compact through the punch to execute the energized sintering. In such a case, in the longitudinal direction of the compacting die 1 heated with heat-generation by energizing from the punch 2, the temp. at the center part 1B of the compacting die is raised at easier than that at both end parts 1A so as to uniformize the temp. distribution of the compacting die by changing temp. raising speed and/or heat exhausting speed. For example, the outer diameter of the center part of the compacting die is formed to smaller than the outer diameter of both end parts.
