FIELD: intestinal diseases. SUBSTANCE: in a water sample, microparticles are concentrated via filtration. Microparticles are then separated from filter and mineral particles are discarded. Sample is washed away with surfactants and centrifuged. Single-cell algae are removed preferably by treatment with cellulose-destruction enzymes. Thereafter, one calculates, under microscope, the number of intestinal disease infecting agents. Device contains primary and secondary filters, reservoir for accessory filter material, and pressure tank for regeneration of filter element of primary filter, the two latter being interconnected through pipelines.
