PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of a multiple-port collector non-aqueous secondary battery by laser welding a projected edge of a power generating element, which is formed by projecting an edge of an electrode of belt shaped positive and negative electrodes from an edge of the other electrode and winding or laminating them through a separator, and a collector to each other. SOLUTION: A positive electrode 5, which is obtained by evenly coating a strip aluminum foil with the positive electrode mix slurry and providing one edge thereof with a non-coating part 4, and a negative electrode 6, which is obtained by evenly coating a strip copper foil with the negative electrode mix slurry and providing one edge with a non-coating part 4, are wound through a separator 7 so that the non-coating part 4 of the positive electrode 5 and the negative electrode 6 are respectively projected upward and downward so as to manufacture a cylindrical power generating element. Continuously, the cylindrical power generating element is pushed for flattened so as to have an elliptic cross section, and collectors 10a, 10b are installed in a straight part, and welded to the non-coating part 4 by laser welding. With this structure, productivity of multiple terminal collector type non-aqueous secondary battery can be improved. |
