PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the display characteristic of a monitor in a short time by using a control signal used for initial monitor control for operating the next control signal of the monitor. SOLUTION: A control computer 170 detects an average adjustment unit F through the prescribed formula. The computer 170 analyzes a digital video signal 1501 from a video processor 150 and a pattern video signal for test given to a monitor 190 from a pattern generator 130, and generates a monitor control signal 1701 conforming to an analyzed result and the average adjustment unit F. And its display characteristic is controlled by giving the control signal 1701 to the monitor 190. The computer 170 stores the control signal 1701 in a memory. The computer 170 reads a monitor control signal used for previous monitor adjustment from a memory, gives it to the next monitor 190, and initially sets a monitor to be adjusted next. |
