Banknotes received in service machines pass through an entry orifice (3) into a cassette (1) which is extracted from the machine in order to be emptied and which is replaced by an empty one. A mechanism (4) consisting of flat levers (6, 7, 15, 16) ensures that, in the pushed-in state of the cassette (1), a stirrup (9) having two legs (8, 10), pivotably mounted, opens the entry orifice (3) and, when the cassette is being extracted, closes it again. A second opening is prevented. The stirrup (9) is doubly secured in the closed state. <IMAGE> |
