PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a square image of picture elements in computer graphics as a true circle of rectangular picture elements of an image in compliance with the MPEG 2. SOLUTION: Data by two lines among data of 640×480 pixels generated by a graphic processing section 75 are made to hold by 1H buffers 131, 132, a line conversion processing circuit 133 multiplies a weight coefficient outputted from a weight control circuit 110 with the data by the two lines and produces data of one line as data of 640×432 pixels elements. A vertical synchronizing signal (a) from a graphic processing section is delayed by 14H at a delay circuit 101, the phase of the vertical synchronizing signal (a) is compared with a phase of a vertical synchronizing signal (b) outputted from an MPEG(moving picture expert group) 2 video decoder 77 at a phase comparator circuit 102, and a generating timing of the vertical synchronizing signal (a) is quickened by 14H from the generating timing of the vertical synchronizing signal (b). Thus, the line conversion processing is executed without a defect by selecting the memory capacity provided to a pre-stage of the line conversion processing circuit 133 in the processing circuit 105B to be only the capacity by two lines. |
