<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner excellent in fixability, blade cleanability and aggregation resistance and giving a developer excellent in stability of a charged state during use over a long period of time by in corporating a specified amt. of fine resin particles into the toner and smoothening the surface of a nonspherical toner. SOLUTION: This toner is a surface-smoothened nonspherical toner contg. 2-8wt.% fine resin particles. The nonspherical toner has unvanished angles and the radius of curvature of each of the angles is <=L/8 (L is the average particle diameter of the toner). The smoothened surface is free from fine resin particles fixed on the surfaces of colored resin particles, and when the ruggedness of the surface of the toner is measured at 0.1μm pitch, the height of the ruggedness is <=0.05μm.</p> |
