PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensing power unit which can reduce the voltage drop within a capacitor cell by lessening the impedance of the wiring between the terminal of the capacitor cell and an electronic circuit. SOLUTION: A condensing power unit is equipped with two capacitor blocks 3 and 4 where a plurality of capacitor cells 27 and 28 are connected in series through bus bars 30 and 31, two switches 3 and 3 which switches the two capacitor blocks 3 and 4 in series or in parallel, and a plurality of electronic circuit boards which control the operation of the capacitor cells, being connected to the capacitor cells. A substrate 27h whose external form fits the plane form of a capacitor cell 27-1 is fixed onto the capacitor cell 27-1. The substrate 27h has a recess 27h at the bottom, and the bus bars 30 and 31 and an electronic circuit board are mounted severally at the bottom of the recess 27h. The length of the wiring between the terminal of the capacitor cell 27-1 and the electronic circuit board and the length of the bus bars can be made shortest, and the impedance of the wiring is lowered, and each voltage drop within the capacitor cell 27-1 is substantially lowered. |
