PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning module which has no rotating mechanisms such as a motor and has a scanning mechanism, a light source, and a light reception part integrated and is small-sized and low-cost and is driven with a low current consumption. SOLUTION: This module is provided with an elastic substrate 2, which has one end fixed to a fixed substrate like a cantilever and on which a coil 20 and a case 3 which emits bean light and receives its reflected light are mounted, and a permanent magnet 21 arranged so as to face the other end of the substrate 2. The case 3 is oscillated by the repulsion and the attraction, which are generated by the electromagnetic force generated in the coil 20 and the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 21, and the elastic force of the substrate 2, and the beam light is scanned with its amplitude to read a bar code. |
