PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method that can accurately control a flow of fluid through a fluid feed system. SOLUTION: Over a wide dynamic range (1000 to 1), a dynamic controller 105 for quantitative quick pulse flow control forms a fluid path from a pressure supply source 110 to a sink 128. The fluid path enters a volume displacement interface area 116 from high-speed (1 millisecond) ON/OFF supply control valves 114 and 150 from the pressure supply source in a typically detachable cassette 100 and then reaches high-speed ON/OFF load control valves 120 and 150 and the sink 128. The load control valves can be replaced with passive flow limiters when a smaller dynamic range is needed. A high-speed actuator is energized from a reusable controller side to open a normally closed valve. |
