PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely detect a position of a nozzle which is provided to a mounting head, in the vertical direction by forming a linear recessed groove, which is so cut as to be at right angles to the direction of a rotation axis of an attaching shaft, on a part of one side part of outer periphery of the attaching shaft in a detecting material. SOLUTION: An attaching shaft 2 is provided on the lower side of a mounting head 1, while rotation with the vertical direction as a center is allowed by a rotating means 12, and a nozzle 13 which holds an electronic part (b) by sucking is detachably attached, so that it can be exchanged for different kinds of nozzle placed on a nearby nozzle exchanging machine. A detecting material 4 which is formed in such a way that a part of one side part of outer periphery of the attaching shaft 2 is cut so as to be at right angles to the direction of the rotating axis of the attaching shaft, and the inner peripheral wall formed into a linear recessed groove is provided. The detecting material 4 is irradiated with a laser beam by a light-emitting material of a detecting means, so that a projection width of the attaching shaft 2 is detected. Thereby a position detection of the nozzle 13 in the vertical direction is measured accurately. |
