PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardness measuring apparatus capable of enhancing resolution when the hardness of a soft object to be measured, especially, tissue in a living body is measured. SOLUTION: A hardness measuring apparatus is provided with a frequency measuring circuit 41 detecting the resonance frequency of the vibrator 7 mechanically connected to a contact 6 brought into contact with an object to be measured and an inner force sensor 25 detecting the load acting across the object to be measured and the contact. An operation circuit 43 receives the measured value of the frequency measuring circuit 41 and the measured value of the sense-of-force sensor 25 synchronously to calculate the hardness of an object to be measured. |
