PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form stable both side images severally provided with the excellent quality by cooling a sheet material transported from both side means arranged on a common transport path, and reducing the temp. difference of the sheet material transported from sheet material feeding means and the both side means to image forming means. SOLUTION: In this device, cooling means 5 are provided with a pair of metallic cooling rolls 5a for holding the sheet material P between them. The cooling means 5 being arranged on the common transport path 1c, discharge heat to the sheet material P transported from the sheet material transport path 1a and cool the sheet material P being transported from the both-side transport path 4a after turning upside down by the both side means 4. Now, the sheet material P transported from sheet material feed-transporting means 1 and the both side means 4 to the image forming means 2 is controlled by cooling effect by the cooling means 5 to the stable temp. with the small temp. difference, and thus the stable image formation with the excellent quality becomes feasible. |
