PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regularly deep a roller for laying an image carrying belt in the state having parallelism in the initial assembling by providing a second suspending means for suspending a roller support unit frame to an image forming device body. SOLUTION: Both pins 37, 38 constituting a first suspending means are fitted to holes 47, 48 of a body side plate 41, and a pin 39 constituting a second suspending means is rotatably fitted to the hole 49a of a unit attaching and detaching plate 49. A roller support unit frame 440 and an image carrying belt 20, in its turn, are positioned and suspended to both the side plates 41, 42 of an image forming device body. Each roller 31-35 is preliminarily installed to the frame 40 with a required parallel precision. Thus, even if the rigidity of ht image forming device body or the body side plates 41, 42 and the like and the support precision of the unit device 20 to the body side plates are not enhanced as in the past, an intermediate transfer belt 3 can be stably traveled. |
