<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect a defective protrusion of a color filter by picking up an image of a color pattern by a CCD camera and by erasing position data of a spacer protrusion stored in advance from position data of the detected protrusion. SOLUTION: A color filter 3 on a conveyer 20 is carried in a Y-direction at a constant speed, and light of a light source 22 is shed toward a color pattern 21 of the color filter 3. An image of the color pattern 21 picked up by a CCD camera 23 is sent to a detection part 25, a detection signal in a main scanning direction X corresponding to a sub scanning direction Y of the color pattern 21 is obtained, and peak waveforms corresponding to a height of a protrusion on the color pattern 21 are output. Then in an image processing part 26, position data X1 to X5 of peak waveforms of a predetermined threshold or larger is taken out and compared with coordinate data of a spacer protrusion 15 stored 27 in a comparison processing part 28, the position data X1 , X2 , X4 , X5 on the spacer protrusion 15 are eliminated, and remaining position data X3 is output as a defective protrusion 17 to a part 29 for determining whether good or not.</p> |
