The cylindrical, elevated (1) cabinet (10) has a domed top (11) with externally mounted geared motor (20) driving the carousal (21) at about 14 r/m. Its vertical drive-shaft (22) carries a circular cage (23b) with about 20 radial supports arms (23a). Detachable frames (30), hanging on the arms, grip butchering knives, sharpening steels and protective gloves. Glove cuffs are held open by ring extensions (34) allowing cleansing solution to fall into the fingers from terminating outlets (52,53; 62,63) on vertical supply pipes (50,60) near the access door (14). These, with spray nozzles (51,61) directed inward, and a central pipe (40) spraying outward (41) are connected (70), via a circulating pump (80), with a reservoir (13) supplied with water (15), detergent and disinfectant (71). Reservoir level (N) is controlled by sensor (16), and contents, when unacceptably contaminated, are flushed away (90).
