PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive optical information recording medium easy to manufacture with reflectance and transmissivity of prescribed values or above by making a translucent reflection film of a first recording layer consisting of the translucent reflection film placed on a translucent substrate a crystal film consisting of dystuff. SOLUTION: This recording medium is reproduced so that laser light outgoing from a semiconductor laser irradiates on either one between respective first, second recording layers 2, 4 from a first substrate 1 side so as to converge selectively through a condenser lens, and information from either one side of respective first, second recording layers 2, 4 is read out selectively. This recording layer 2 is preferred to be provided with an optical characteristic with the reflectance of 50% or above for reproducing light. In this executive state, by thinning the recording layer 2 with high refractive index and small light absorption for the reproducing light and consisting of organic dystuff so that the reflectance becomes maximum, the high reflectance and high transmissivity are attained. |
