<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of deflection prevention in the fitting direction when a counterpart connector is inserted and fitted thereinto. SOLUTION: In a right angle connector 1 for a surface mount, deflection preventing protrusions 16a, 16b which are inserted into protrusion accepting holes 42a, 42b formed in a printed board 4 to prevent a housing 10 from deflection in the longitudinal direction when the housing 10 is mounted on the printed board 4 are provided between mounting protrusions 15a, 15b on the lower face 14 of the housing 10. Force applied to the housing 10 when a counterpart connector is fitted thereto is received by the mounting protrusions 15a, 15b and the deflection preventing protrusions 16a, 16b, so that the housing 10 is prevented from deflection.</p> |
