PURPOSE:To use a totalizator more effectively by storing data for hit discrimination and betting data which are sent from a broadcast station and discriminating a hit of betting data and expressing the hit with a picture and sounds. CONSTITUTION:A teletext processing part 1 of a home betting terminal receives character broadcast from the broadcast station and stores data for hit discrimination in a data storage part 3. Before this reception, a customer inputs specific betting data to a betting processing part 2 with remote key pads or the like to hold this in a betting data storage part 4. Data for hit discrimination and vote data are compared with each other by a comparing part 5 provided with a CPU or the like of the betting processing part 2; and when a hit of betting data is discriminated, a picture is projected on a television or a fanfare is emitted with synthesizer sounds to express the hit by a hit expressing part 6 of the teletext processing part 1. Thus, the customer is more deeply impressed with the hit. |
