PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium hardly causing stripping off of a substrate even for an impact and deformation and having excellent durability by using the substrate chamfering the outer peripheral end part of the outside surface of the substrate. SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium 1 is a sandwich type constituted so that a disk like substrate 11 provided with a recording layer 13, a reflection layer 14 and a protection layer 15 in this order and having a hole part 10a on its center is stuck to a disk like protection plate 12 having the same shape as this substrate so that respective recording layer sides become the inside through adhesive 16. Then, the outer peripheral end part of the outside surface of the substrate 11 is performed with the chamfering processes 17a, 17b of a shape cutting its corner part off. Although the chamfering process is preferred to be performed for both of two sheets of substrates as shown in figure, the process may be only for one side. |
