PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To verify whether or not a test area based on the frequency of OPC (power calibration) execution obtained from a count area at an OPC processing time is correct. SOLUTION: A system controller 10, etc., reproduce plural count areas of a PCA(power calibration area) area on an optical disk when recording laser power at a data recording time is decided by the OPC processing, obtain the number of times of the OPC execution based on the address of the count area that a regenerative signal is obtained, reproduce the test area answering to the number of times of the OPC execution in plural test areas of the PCA area and verify whether or not the number of times of the OPC execution is correct by whether or not the regenerative signal is obtained. |
