LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a liquid crystal display panel which has no decrease in luminance and has high display quality as a simple driven type liquid crystal display panel which has large capacity and high definition. SOLUTION: Stripe electrodes 14 provided on one substrate 11 where striped color filters 20 are provided between stripe electrodes 14 and 15 formed on a couple of substrates 11 and 12 used for the simple driven type liquid crystal display panel are formed right above the color filters 20. Thus, the stripe electrodes 14 are formed right above the striped color filters 20, so there is no decrease in aperture rate and a liquid crystal display panel with high luminance can be constituted as a large-capacity display or high-definition display panel.
