<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and device for screen control and the method and device for printing which make it possible to confirm menus and dialog boxes in hierarchical structure without tracing the hierarchy back. SOLUTION: A host computer 3000 has a step for reading out information set in respective setting items of respective screens, a step for judging the parent-child relation and brother relation of the respective screens and structurally displaying them, a step for reducing and displaying the screens, a step for altering information of respective setting items on the reduced screen, and a step for switching between the original screen to be reduced and the reduced screen.</p> |
