PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect wrong use of traffic facilities by judging the validity of a ticket via a judging part when a user gets on a train and controlling a gate part according to the judging result of the judging part to allow or inhibit the use of the train for the user according as the ticket is valid or invalid. SOLUTION: When a ticket is put into the automatic ticket examination machine 1, a ticket reading part 12 reads the available lien information out of a storage part of the ticket to check every available line for the ticket. A decision part 10 decides the validity of the ticket based on the reading result of the part 12 and the memory contents of the storage part. If the validity of the ticket is stored in the storage part for one of both new or existing lines, the use of an existing line is recorded as the riding lien information at a recording part of the ticket via a writing part 13. Then a gate part 14 is opened for the passage of a user. On the other hand, the part 14 is closed to inhibit the passage if the invalidity of the ticket is recorded as the available line information at the recording part for both Shinkansen and existing line. |
