PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device with voice guidance, by which a driver can recognize the position of its own vehicle without recognizing map data of a display by guiding a road name on which the vehicle travels and the name of a place in the direction of travel by voice. SOLUTION: The navigation device with voice guidance is provided with a its own vehicle position detection means 11 detecting the position of the vehicle, a map data storage means 12 storing information on a node showing a coordinate point, a link connecting the nodes, a guidance point and guidance information, a guidance output judgment means 13 whether guidance is to be executed or not by the passage of the guidance point by the vehicle, and a voice guidance output means 14 informing the driver of guidance information of the guidance point from the map data storage means 12 by voice. Thus, the driver can recognize the position of the vehicle without recognizing map data of the display by guiding the road name on which the vehicle travels, and the name of the place in the direction of travel by voice. |
