PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce self-heating of a coil, reduce the cost, and improve energy efficiency by using it in a heater system by constituting an exciting coil of bundled wires of plural conductive wires which are insulated from each other and have a prescribed wire diameter. SOLUTION: A first member 1 and a pressure roller 6 to form a nip part N by being brought into pressure contact with this, are contained in a fixing device 100 in an electrophotographic printer or the like. The member 1 is composed of an exciting coil 3 and a cylindrical fixing film 2 or the like. B an alternating current from an exciting circuit 5, an alternating magnetic flux is generated in the coil 3 composed by winding plural bundled wires 3d composed of plural fine wires by performing heat resistant insulation covering on a conductor. Therefore, an electromagnetic induction heater layer of the film 2 is heated in the nip part N and its vicinity by the eddy current. Since a wire diameterϕ1 of the conductor of the coil 3 is set to (ϕ1 <=δ) to an entering depthδdefined byδ=(πfμσ)<-1/2> , an increase in heating by a copper loss is restrained. In the expression, (f) is a frequency of an exciting current, andμis magnetic permeability of conductive wire rods, andδis electric conductivity of the conductive wire rods.
