Small-scale municipal waste water treatment plant combines filtration with electrical treatment

A municipal waste water treatment assembly treats water which has a high proportion of colloidal or high-molecular organic substances. The assembly is intended for decentralised water treatment in a compact, high-efficiency unit. The novelty is that the assembly incorporates: (a) a vessel (7) which is charged with pre-treated waste water (6); (b) a reaction chamber (9) linked to the vessel (7) via a passage (8), and which has a stainless steel anode (10) and a cathode (11); (c) an ultra-filtration unit (21) to filter the waste water in the reaction chamber (9); the waste water in the reaction chamber (9) is forced through the ultra-filtration unit (21) by a pump, and is then returned to the vessel (7); (d) a fixing unit (22) which fixes the ultra-filtration unit (21)concentrate phase; (e) a capture vessel (19) linked to the reactor chamber (9).
