Unit-type heat-and-power station

摘要

A procedure for generating heat and power has the following steps. (a) A hot fuel gas is generated. (b) This is cooled. (c) At least one IC engine is run with the cooled fuel gas. The cooling is done using a Stirling cycle. The fuel gas is generated by wood gasification. The waste heat of the IC engine(s) is used for a second Stirling process. The energy recouped from the Stirling processes is used for electricity generation. During the wood gasification, wood refuse is converted into a "lean gas". After cooling by the Stirling process this is passed to at least one gas motor acting as an IC engine. The whole process is used in a unit-type power station.
