摘要 The lens surface has a near sight correction area with a surface refraction value corresponding to the near distance and a second area for a defined distant sight correction with a surface refraction force corresponding to a defined farther distance. A progressive area is provided between the first and second areas, in which the surface refraction forces from the first and second areas are continuously connected and evolve into one another. The centre of the first area is separated from the point close to the eyes by a distance of 2-8 mm. downwards along the main meridian curve and whereby the following condition is fulfilled 0.6 is less than (KE-KA)/(KB-KA) is less than 0.9, whereby KE is the refraction force at the point close to the eyes, KA is the refraction force at the middle of the second area, KB is the refraction force at the middle of the first area.
