<p>A shale shaker comprising two separate filter screens, one above the other, to provide an upper and a lower screen, and drive means adapted to drive the screens separately in at least lateral vibration. One or both screens are vibratable in more than one mode, for example vertical and/or horizontal and/or orbital mode. The screens may be of similar or different mesh. Typically the upper screen is of a coarser mesh that of the lower screen.</p> |
