Capacitively coupled antenna for diagnostic magnetic resonance device
摘要
The whole-body antenna comprises two elongated strip conductors (2,2a) extending along opposite sides of a cylindrical imaging space (12), with their ends connected by resonance capacitors (6a,6b) to terminal rings (8). The strips and rings are fed with AC in anti-phase. The four metallic screens (16) between the ends of the antenna and the imaging space are not earthed but overlap (18,20) the strips and ring to an extent such that in operation each screen assumes the reference potential.
