Sludge preparation station for tunnelling machine whose working tip consists of compressed sludge

The sludge preparation station has a pump (4) which moves the sludge from the drive machine to the preparation point, a device (6) which removes sand from the sludge, a device (10) which feeds the resulting sludge to a preparation container (12) where it is mixed with new sludge, excess being placed in a storage container (8) then in a recycling system (16). A mixture of the treated and new sludge is fed to the opening of the tunnelling machine. A regeneration container (34) contains mixers (36) which homogenize the contents in suitable quantities for the time to drive a tunnel ring.
