PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium without stripping off having excellent durability by retreating both of outside end parts of a recording layer and a reflection layer to the inside, exposing an outside end part surface of a substrate and joining a protection layer to its exposed surface. SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium 1 is a sandwich type constituted so that a disk like substrate 11 provided with the recording layer 13, the reflection layer 14 and the protection layer 15 in this order and having a hole part 10a on its center is stuck to a disklike protection plate 12 having the same shape as this substrate 11 through adhesive 16 so that the recording layer side becomes the inside. An area (exposed surface) 17 exposed to the substrate end part surface is provided on the outside end part of the substrate 11 of these recording layer 13 and reflection layer 14, and the end parts of the protection layer 15 are joined to this exposed surface 17 in the adhesive state respectively. Further, the area 18 exposed to the substrate surface is provided also on the both inside end parts of the substrate 11 of the recording layer 13 and reflection layer 14, and the end part of the protection layer 15 is preferred to be joined to this exposed surface 18 in the adhesive state. |
