PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a display method without interruption of video data in real time even when the video data are missing in the video data transfer system such as a video on demand(VOD) system. SOLUTION: A video pump section 1 is provided with a buffer that has a video data advanced read area and a storage area to reserve transmitted video data by a prescribed amount, and the video data are sent at a faster speed than a bit rate specific to the video data themselves. In the case of detecting missing of video data, a client section 2 uses a re-transmission request generating means 23 to makes a re-transmission request of the missing video data and a video pump section 1 sends the requested data again. |
