The invention concerns analytical techniques and more particularly furniture for carrying out such analyses. More specifically it concerns a control device (or miniature laboratory) consisting of several columns of drawers containing measuring instruments, characterised in that it comprises a fixed part forming a desk with a column of drawers on either side and an empty part in the middle, and, a central mobile part mounted on rollers forming a caisson comprising several rows of drawers, of similar or different dimensions. The device is useful for carrying out physical and/or bacteriological control tests.
