Device for exposing pivotable vehicle roof component out of roof opening

The device comprises an exposure lever (10) with its front end fitted in a slide (8) running in the direction of the vehicle longitudinal axis. At its rear end the lever is rotatably fitted to a link part (12) which is fixed to the roof. A support lever (13) is rotatably linked with its rear end to the exposure lever and with its front end to a slide shoe (16). The slide shoe is linked to a backwards running operating lever (22) via a pivot lever (18). The operating lever in its front area is pivotably linked to a further slide shoe (24). By the above arrangement the roof component is articulately connected to the lever arms which are located in at least one lateral guide rail (A) on the roof opening. The roof component is, in the area of front edge, rotatably located around an axis which is located crossways to vehicle longitudinal axis.
