The object of the invention is to provide a simple and reliably operating clamping claw (1) for a chain conveyer. To that end, a mobile clamping jaw (6) which can be moved such that it acts against a fixed clamping jaw (4) forms part of a lever arm (18) mounted on a chain link carrier (3). An actuating lever (17) pivots the movable clamping jaw under the effect of a tension spring (26) from a stable open position via an extended dead centre position into a stable closed position. In this respect, in the closed position of the clamping claw, an automatic locking effect acts on a printed product to be conveyed. |
