The road vehicle anti collision system operates on the basis of the distance to the object and the speed of the vehicle. The decision as to whether a warning signal is generated or not is made on the basis of the time relative to the measured parameters with the warning generated with time to avoid the object. If the defined time criteria is not exceeded the warning is not given.
