Electrical switching device for connections on printed circuit board

The device is based on a pushbutton (3) with an electrically conductive surface (4). It bridges a gap between two tracks (2) on the circuit board (1) supported by a mounting (6). The pushbutton, occupying an aperture in the housing (5) of the circuit board, is formed of insulating material reinforced by electrically conductive particles (7). Repeated pressure on the pushbutton causes little abrasion of the conductive tracks. The tracks are formed of soft elastic material with rubbery resilience, e.g. by screen-printing on the board. The remainder of the tracks are manufactured from the usual hard and electrically conductive precious metal.
