<p>A hydraulic motor (100) for incorporation in a vehicle which has road engaging wheels and rail engaging wheels. The motor (100) has a shaft (102) which rotatably supports an outer housing (103) fixed to a wheel (129). Mounted on the shaft (102) is a stator (110), with the housing (103) having gates (108) which engage lobes (111) of the stator (110) to provide variable volume working chambers (117 and 118). The shaft (102) has first and second duct means (120 and 124) to provide for the delivery and the removal of the hydraulic fluid to the working chambers (117 and 118).</p> |
