An anastomosis device (48) capable of providing support and expansion to a body vessel, is disclosed. The anastomosis device (48) has a skeletal frame (50) having a main leg (52) which is tubular in configuration, and is formed to define an open ended main chamber (54) having a central longitudinal axis (56). The skeletal frame (50) also includes a branch leg (58) which has a branch chamber (62). The skeletal frame (50) is covered by fabric (24), and has projecting barbs (74) which project through the fabric (24) for penetrating the luminal wall of the body vessel. |
