PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately adds a characteristic expression of a musical instrument to performance data by shifting the sound generation starting timing of plural notes employing the sound generation continuation time of a prescribed note as a reference. SOLUTION: An effect circuit 16 adds various effects to the musical sound signals from a sound source circuit 15.
