The device comprises two lamellae (1a,b) that lie on one another when in the open position, and swing opposite one another when in the closed position. Each lamellae has front side (6a,b) and back side (7a,b) as well as edges (2a,3a,2b,3b) that correspond to neighbouring edges. The edges are profiled so as to be inclined towards the front and back sides. The edges (2a,b) which are close to the front side may have complementary concave and convex profiles so as to form a projection (20) and a mating shoulder (30) on corresponding lamellae. The two lamellae are swingable relative to each other, about a virtual rotation axis (5), this movement being assisted by a hinge joint (10). The hinge has two plates (10a,b) and a pivot pin (10c) formed along the rotation axis. The two edges (3a,b) which are close to the back side may lie parallel to one another and be inclined towards the rotation axis.
