Sealing devices are provided between the packing drum and the connecting rod on the one hand and between the packing drum and the cylinder body on the other hand. The packing drum has a radial external peripheral surface which extends between two head surfaces. The packing drum (5) on the side of the head surface (15) turned away from the piston (7) is provided with a brush. The greatest radial dimension of the brush is so much greater than the inner diameter of a ring (12) that the brush engages around the ring, forming a closed shape connection with it, so that the packing drum (5) in relation to the cylinder body (1) is fixed in both axial directions.
