To provide a thermoelectrically powered wristwatch with high thermoelectric conversion efficiency in a one piece metallic watch case, a heat absorbing endothermic plate 101 disposed outside of and coextensive with case back 150 provides heat from a user's wrist via heat transfer pins 102 and conductive plate 120 to thermoelectric element 3. Thermal insulation packings 110 and 140 of plastic material or rubber material are provided between the endothermic plate 101 and the case back 150 and between the case back 150 and thermal conduction plate 120.
